![]() Only a few things happen in this novel and they really aren’t vital to the story line. I didn’t mind the first one, and when I found out that there was a sequel (let alone 3 other books) I was quite excited. I have to say that this book was a little bit of a disappointment. Zara must learn to protect what she loves the most and put herself in such danger, unimaginable danger. Zara is scared, her and her friends have locked up as many pixies as they can in a house in the woods, but how much longer until they find a way out? Nick and Zara are as close as can be, but something happens that will change their relationship forever. His name is Astley, but here’s the thing: he is not a nasty, bloodthirsty, horrible creature like all the other pixies that she has encountered. ![]() She meets another king who is about her age. Her father is a pixie king, which means that she is destined to be a queen. In the previous book, Need, we find out that Zara has pixie blood. If you have not read the book, then I warn you that they may be some spoilers in this review. In my last review I covered that Zara was sent to live with her Grandma Betty after the traumatic death of her step-dad.
