I didn’t mind the first one, and when I found out that there was a sequel (let alone 3 other books) I was quite excited. I have to say that this book was a little bit of a disappointment. Zara is scared, her and her friends have locked up as many pixies as they can in a house in the woods, but how much longer until they find a way out? Nick and Zara are as close as can be, but something happens that will change their relationship forever. His name is Astley, but here’s the thing: he is not a nasty, bloodthirsty, horrible creature like all the other pixies that she has encountered. ![]() She meets another king who is about her age. Her father is a pixie king, which means that she is destined to be a queen. In the previous book, Need, we find out that Zara has pixie blood.
